DESPITE AVERAGE MEAL PRICES, I'M GOING TO BUDGET $100 FOR EACH RESTAURANT...JUST IN CASE
COSTA GALLEGA
Located in the La Ramba neighborhood this place serves fresh and local seafood. Average meals include unlimited drinks. I can expect to pay about $32.95.
Dos Palillos
Located in El Ravel neighborhood. They specialize in Asian food which will be quite a surprise compared to the seafood sold everywhere else. The tasting menu costs $75. With the tip, I could expect about $100.
El Vell Sarria
Located in the upper part of Sarria this restaurant features rice dishes and seafood. The average meals cost $45.
McDonald's
When the home sickness starts to hit, just order a couple of Big Macs and awesome McDonald's fries and BAM! Instant Cure. Okay, maybe not... but I still plan to go to McDonald's at least once during my trip because I cannot handle 10 days of fish and mysterious fried goods. Unless there's some super up charge in Spain, I plan to spend about $10-$20.
Hard rock cafe
I've heard good things of the Hard Rock Cafe so I was delighted to hear there was a location in Barcelona. Why drive all the way up to St. Louis when I can just fly to Barcelona for some great food. I've heard the average price for a good meal would be about $30-$40, so I'll budget $100 just in case. After all, this is a place to get a non-fast food burger after all the other restaurants and their countless fish feasts.
